randomness

I forgot to take some panadol before heading out to work this morning.
And boy oh boy am I regretting that now.
Hadn't realised just how much of a help those two little white pills were being at the moment in staving off the virus/germ/bug/whatever that is stalking through my immune system and body at the moment.
I could happily put my head down on my desk right now and sleep for a month.
Except I can't coz a) class in 40 minutes and recess in 20 and b) my little sister is in town and I plan on spending COPIOUS amounts of time with her while she's here.
Also my muscles may be aching a little due to the orientation thing I had at the gym yesterday where one of the PT girls took me around the gym for 40 minutes or so and had me working out all the machines.
I did some weights stuff with my legs and arms. I did some "rowing" and some crosstrainer and some cross-treader (very funky machine that burns calories like you would not BELIEVE) and a short spurt of hell on the stepper. I loved it... except the stepper ...and am soooo looking forward to being all gym junkie woman for a while. A long while.

Also had big dinner (light cut steak with avacado and vegies plus a sticky date pudding with icecream, cream and butterscotch sauce for dessert - oh my tummy) last night at Hog's Breath Cafe for Mum's b'day (I may have mentioned this already) along with two glasses of caffeine loaded Coca-Cola.

But the Lite'N'Easy esky arrived yesterday arvo so started the breakfast/lunch thing today. Actually I'm hungry now... think I'll go eat my orange and my roll with cheese for morning tea. nummy.

later.

Oh I hate those achy joint and head cold things it sounds horrible. I hope you can crawl into a warm bed very soon and sleep it all away. :)

Well, it seems like everybody has jumped on the "get healthier" band wagon this week. :) Myself included.

I hope you get over your cold quickly. I was put down for 6 weeks by a cold this summer. It was ridiculous!

I HATE HATE HATE the cross trainer. Its such a good work out but my quads hate it. *sigh*

But not as much as I hate my butt, so my quads can just suck it up.

well I now find myself popping those tiny white pills ( thank you nurofen!) and my body is aching. I think I jinxed myself.
